Capturing Adventure for Outer Banks
We are beyond thrilled to share that some of the breathtaking underwater footage we filmed for Netflix’s hit series Outer Banks made it into the official trailer! Being part of a project that embodies so much energy, adventure, and the spirit of the coast was a dream come true for our team at Hendy Street Produxions.

Early Morning Call Time and a Perfect Swell
Our journey started before dawn on a crisp November morning. With a solid swell forecasted, we set out by boat toward a well-known island just off North Carolina’s southern coast. The excitement was palpable as a few cast members from Outer Banks joined us, along with an elite group of professional surfers ready to take on the waves.
One of the most memorable moments came when our very own Tony Morin of Hendy Street Produxions captured pro surfer Dylan Kowalski pulling into a flawless barrel. This iconic shot stands out around the 26-second mark in the official Outer Banks trailer, showcasing the raw beauty and power of the ocean.
A Creative Collaboration with the Best in the Industry
A massive thank you goes out to Outer Banks Director of Photography Bo Webb for entrusting us with this incredible opportunity. We are honored to contribute to the visual storytelling of such a popular series, especially for the action-packed underwater scenes that bring the show’s adventure to life.
This project wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration of our incredible underwater team. Special shoutouts go to Robin and Matt, who worked alongside us to push the boundaries of underwater cinematography. Their skill and dedication made it possible to capture shots that balance artistry with authenticity, truly embodying the spirit of the Outer Banks.
